The youth comprises over 22% of the Indian population which in turn constitutes a major part of the labour force and is a vital and vibrant human resource of the country but many of them are not employed. It is not their lack of theoretical knowledge that causes this; instead, it is the lack of right skills and attitude.
This project offers a multi-pronged approach to develop and enhance livelihood opportunities of the underprivileged youth and raise their standard of living.
The Samarth project offers short term courses in computer application and the beneficiaries are trained in market-driven and job oriented trades such as basics of computer and communication skills, which have become a mandatory part of any work environment. This is a window to various development initiatives.
