Health Care: Bringing Health Care Facilities to Unreached and abandoned

This project is an initiative to provide health care services to needy to meet immediate and prolonged health care needs of the marginalized community in urban and rural slums. .

Through this project we organize free health camps, provide counseling services and create awareness about community based population stabilization programe, family planning, nutritional care, prenatal care, timely care and diagnosis services which can reduce the incidents of mortality and morbidity.

Dhani has been working with sex workers in red light areas by providing counseling and raising awareness on various aspects of HIV/AIDS. We have involved many sex workers in programme activities of community mobilization, STD treatment, and condom promotion, counseling and support services as part of the targeted intervention with migrant workers and the bridge groups. They have also been given information and communication on HIV/AIDS prevention and management during this intervention.
